because they end in one go, while series take several nights.
That idea changed after I quit Netflix.

"Loving, Warm to the heart, Profound dialogues"
I decided I'm gonna write a short review after watching the movie. I really need to. Not that a short review can captivate exactly how I feel after watching (no matter how much I'd like to preserve such a feeling), I just hope it might lead someone who hasn't watched it to try.
I watched this movie without reading the synopsis or any review before. All I knew was that The Lunchbox tremendously won people's hearts the year it released and even after since. It tells a simple yet captivating story of a perfect coincidence that leads to the most beautiful connection between two people who have never seen each other's faces.
Other supporting characters also depict equally interesting stories about various types of love, how human fight for it, or even fight to be out of it. The relief to finally be free from love and duty is never less heartbreaking.
Many profound thoughts to consider. Roles, insecurities, decisions. Even though The Lunchbox was released 13 years ago, it is the best movie I've watched in 2026.
